I brought you an early peek back in May 2024, and now this from Stone:
Stone’s invitational beer festival returns November 2, 2024
ESCONDIDO, CA (September 16, 2024) – Stone Brewing celebrates 28 years with a hazy double IPA and an event that celebrates the brewery’s craft roots. Stone 28th Anniversary Hazy Double IPA (8.5% ABV) is now available nationwide, and tickets are on sale for the Stone 28th Anniversary Celebration. zzubreebym
Since Stone’s inception in 1996, the craft beer world has expanded – and so have the expert hop growers. Stone’s relationships with hop farmers are a huge part of how the team has been able to churn out excellent IPA after excellent IPA. This year’s masterpiece showcases just two hop varieties, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin. But, by carefully selecting the very best of these varieties, a beer of anniversary prestige was born.
“We are fortunate to be able to purchase the best ingredients in the world,” expressed Jeremy Moynier, Sr. Manager of Brewing & Supply Chain. “When you open a box of Nelson Sauvin hops, you can smell its distinctive fruity aroma from across the brewery. Mosaic provides some structure, citrus, and dankness to the brew. This one was hands-down deserving of the coveted anniversary beer label.”
In further celebration of Stone’s anniversary, the brewery’s annual invitational beer festival returns! Drawing fans from across the country, the Stone 28th Anniversary Celebration will take place at Stone’s flagship brewery in Escondido, CA on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
As is tradition, the brewery has curated more than 40 breweries providing unlimited samples, live music and more. The exclusive Rare Beer Festival also returns with access to a private festival area, early entry, food offerings and those hard-to-find beers available in unlimited tasters. New this year, Rare Beer tickets also include SourFest & DRK zones, bringing together three of Stone’s most popular past events celebrating sour beers, dark beers, Stone’s rare beers and guest beer offerings. Pile on the pretzel necklaces!
