At this special holiday time of year, our thoughts turn to family, friends, holiday moments and something even better…the Tröegs Our Most Wonderful Beer of the Year 12-Pack! Of course I’m kidding (not kidding), but I honestly do look forward every year to the holiday beers coming from our pals John Trogner and Chris Trogner at Tröegs Independent Brewing in Hershey, PA.

This year the 12-Pack includes 2-cans each of Perpetual IPA, Troegenator Double Bock, Grand Cacao chocolate stout, Dreamweaver, Blizzard of Hops Winter IPA and of course Mad Elf…all in 12oz cans. These beers are classics and in the case of the newer beers, instant classics for me.

I’ve sampled and reviewed all of these beers before (and here too), but I can’t tell you how strongly I recommend picking up this 12-Pack and trying it for yourself. I’d review them again, but I’m sure I’d just repeat over and over again how much I love them all. These beers cover a wide variety of styles from Bock to Belgian and I can say that they are not only currently in my ‘fridge, but they’ve been rotating in and out of there since Thanksgiving.

My favorite of the bunch remains Mad Elf, and I’ll admit it feels really unique to have it packaged in a 12oz can. This beer combines many of my favorite aspects and flavors and it hands-down has to be on my top 10 list of best beers ever. A big thank you to Chris, John, Ed Jeff and everyone else at Tröegs for sharing some holiday classic and for the cool Tröegs swag they included. Now get out there and try these beers for yourself. I know you’ll love them and when you do try them, be sure to let us know what YOU think.
