Great Divide Brewing Co. is thrilled to officially launch Beach Milk Project, a series of beers featuring experimental ingredients and advanced brewing methods that showcase the inventiveness and ingenuity of our brewing team. Beach Milk Project beer releases will be exclusive to our Denver taprooms, so swing by if you're a Denver local - or plan to if you're visiting Colorado soon!
Before Great Divide Brewing Co. moved into 2201 Arapahoe St. in 1994, the building was home to a different company… you guessed it, Beach Milk Co.! The title of our new project pays homage to the Beach Milk dairy company and the various quirks of our brewery's interior design that reveal its historical use.
While part of Beach Milk Project is a nod to Denver's history, the other part is a celebration of Denver's present; each release will feature a can design by a local Denver artist! Beer info and artists' names will be continually updated on the Beach Milk Project webpage.
The first two beer releases are coming to our taprooms today! They are:
"Solid Together" Smoothie Sour
Solid Together (pictured, left) is a cornucopia of flavors that come together (solidly, no less) to create a sensory experience akin to eating the ripest, juiciest representation of each ingredient: blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, mango, cherry and black currant. 6.7% ABV
"Dream Argument" New England-Style Hazy IPA
Dream Argument (pictured, right) is a balanced and flavorful IPA brewed with Nectaron, El Dorado, Citra and HBC 586 hops, expect notes of mango, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, lychee and passionfruit. 7.2% ABV
Beach Milk Project releases will be available both on draft and in 16oz 4-packs to take home!
