Mybeerbuzz .com Highlights 10 Barrel (Review)

I’m always excited to get my hands on new creations from 10 Barrel Brewing in Bend, OR and they are always kind enough to oblige when new beverages hit the streets. Whether it’s one of their tasty stouts or better yet, a hoppy IPA or hop-forward pale ale, I can honestly say I haven’t had a beer I didn’t like from 10 Barrel….but today we’re changing directions.

Today we’re wandering off the beer trail to try out their new RTD canned cocktails Ranch Water and Golf Tea. These Ready-To-Drink cans contain alcohol and some really unique flavor combinations and they are among the multiple other RTD’s that 10 Barrel calls “Not Beer.”image

Ranch Water starts with house-made sparkling mineral water, and to that they add fresh lime and a “touch” of agave and tequila. I can say that this canned cocktail tastes very much like the real cocktail with a really drinkable combination of citrus and a touch of tequila. Ranch Water hits 7.1%-AbV and I found it to be really tasty and enjoyable.image

Golf Tea will take you in a different direction and starts with 10 Barrel’s house-made lemonade. From there, hand-selected iced tea and vodka are added to form the final drink. Golf Tea tastes like the classic lemonade / iced tea blend and the flavors really work well together. This cocktail also hits 7.1%-AbV and I found it to be refreshing and a tasty way to enjoy a round of golf.

10 Barrel Ranch Water & Golf Tea are available now in 12oz cans so get out there and try them for yourself. And when you do try them, be sure to let us know what YOU think. zzubreebym
