Creature Comforts to Release Collaboration with Allagash: A Force For Good

From Creature Comforts & Allagash:

We’re closing out the year with the release of a limited bottle offering from our Wood Cellar and Mixed Fermentation program made with our friends from Allagash Brewing Company. A Force For Good will be available from our taproom in 500mL bottles with proceeds benefitting Get Comfortable on December 19.

A Force For Good is a 5.7% ABV mixed-culture blonde ale we brewed in collaboration with Allagash Brewing Company. 100% of the profits from the beer will go toward Get Comfortable, which is our year-round outreach program designed to channel the generosity of many toward our community's most pressing needs. Reflecting our shared philosophy of incorporating local flavor into our mixed-culture beers, we sourced a combination of grains from Maine and the Southeast. The beer fermented with a blend of our house culture and spontaneous culture from Allagash, resulting in a bright acidity presenting lemon, citrus, and subtle melon notes.
