Shelton Brothers Cancels The Festival 2021 With No Refunds

Shelton Brothers Cancels The Festival 2021

From Shelton Brothers:

The official statement from Dan will come a bit later, but for now we wanted to update everyone on The Festival. When we initially postponed it to March 2021, we were cautiously optimistic that it would be no problem hosting it by then. Unfortunately it's clear that a beer festival definitely can't happen that soon or really at all for the foreseeable future. We were able to push our bookings with the hotel and venue by a year, moving the event to March 2022, but unfortunately you also probably know by now that Shelton Brothers won't be around then, as we've been forced by our bank to cease operations. It breaks our hearts to tell you this, but that also means that with all assets being claimed by the bank, there is no money available to give refunds. We're trying to figure out some way that a version of The Festival could happen again one day, with a different host, but for now our hands are just completely tied. Fortunately, the credit card processing company confirmed today that there's insurance that should cover your refunds, but you'll need to contact your credit card company to initiate that. Again, we're so sorry for the disappointment and the trouble, but hopefully we can all share a beer together at another festival one day.
