I brought you the 2021 Double Barrel version and now today I have your first look at another returning imperial stout from Firestone Walker. This is 2021 Parabola and it will be an imperial stout aged in Bourbon barrels, Rye and Wheated Whiskey barrels. The beer will use British Ale yeast and it will roll in at 13.6%-AbV & 55 IBU. This is the 12oz bottle (3,2500 cases produced) and stay tuned for 2021 release timing.

Of all the beers in our Proprietor’s Vintage Series, Parabola is the most notorious. It is always a beast of a beer, with intense flavors of black cherry, dark chocolate and roasted coffee—yet each annual release also bears its own subtle imprint.
For the first time ever, this year’s edition was aged for twelve months in an equal mix of bourbon, rye and wheat whiskey barrels, accentuating the beer’s signature richness and intensity with vintage-specific hints of black pepper and cereal grain. Read our blog to learn more.
