This 9 Dec 2020 Update from AleSmith:

This Friday, December 11th, we will be releasing some of our most exciting barrel-aged beers of 2020. This year has been a tough one, so we figured we all need some strong bourbon barrel-aged stouts to help finish out the year.

The following beers will be available to purchase in person at our gift shop or online on our Oznr platform:

  • Barrel-Aged Speed Hawk (14.3% ABV) – This imperial stout is our collaboration with Horus Aged Ales that has been aged in two different types of premium bourbon barrels. We then added coconut and Papua New Guinea coffee from The Westbean Coffee Roasters. This massive stout has intense notes of chocolate, caramel and rich, sweet bourbon followed by delicate notes of dried fruit, honey and citrus zest from the coffee. $45/750mL bottle (plus tax and CRV).
  • Barrel-Aged Speedway Stout: Mexican Cocoa Edition (13.6% ABV) – This decadent variant of our signature Russian imperial stout has been slumbering in bourbon barrels for several months picking up notes of caramel, chocolate, vanilla, oak and bourbon. This flavorful barrel-aged stout benefits from the addition of Mexican cocoa, cinnamon, Madagascar vanilla beans, sea salt, arbol chiles, and barrel-aged Chiapas coffee from our friends at Mostra Coffee. Full bodied with spicy and dark fruit notes from the added spices and chilis. Perfect beer to warm up with on a cold night! $36/750mL bottle (plus tax and CRV).

Sale will go live starting at 10:00AM on Friday, December 11th. Pickup in our gift shop and curbside begins at 12:00PM on Friday, December 11th. Proxies are allowed. Please make sure to list your proxy when placing your order. All bottles must be picked up by Sunday, January 31st or they will be forfeited and a refund will be issued with a restocking fee.

For the first time ever, we will have limited edition art prints of Speed Hawk and Barrel-Aged Speed Hawk and Speed Hawk available! These 11x17 prints make the perfect addition to your home bar or favorite hangout spot. 50 prints of each design will be available to purchase in our Gift Shop and on the Oznr platform starting Friday. Purchase one print for $20 or the set for $35.
