This morning I bring you a new bottle coming from Spoetzl Brewery / Shiner in Shiner, TX. This is 1909 and it will be a “classic style” SMASH lager that pays tribute to brewing history in Shiner. This Single-Malt Single Hop (SMASH) beer will use heritage 2-row barley as well as Czech Saaz hops and lager yeast. The beer will clock in at 4.5%-AbV and you’re looking at the 12oz bottle.
