This morning I have your first peek at a new bottle from New Belgium brewing in Fort Collins, CO and Asheville, NC. This is 2020 Colorway and it will be simultaneously fermented and acidified on crushed Cab Franc grape must inside a single foeder containing New Belgium’s house mixed culture and the natural wild yeast from the grape skins. This fruit-forward slightly sour ale is bottle conditioned and it will roll in at 7.5%-AbV. This is the 750ml bottle (kegs coming too below) and stay tuned here for release details.
This 9 Oct 2020 update from New Belgium:
Wine or beer? Now you don't have to choose. Our 2020 vintage of Colorway is here, and it contains all the magic that happens when crushed Cab Franc grapes hang out in a foeder of our house-mixed culture and wild yeast from grape skins. Slightly sour, fruit-forward, and like a fine wine.. cuz it kind of is.
Now available for curbside purchase at our breweries or direct shipping to Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
