Our new Scratch Lab allows us to take a 15-barrel batch and break it up into nano batches, clearing the path to test things like dry-hop combinations and yeast strains. Scratch #410 is the same base beer as last week’s Scratch #409 Hazy IPA, but dry-hopped with Galaxy, Simcoe and Sabro. Fermentation with Voss Kveik yeast adds a base of orange hard candy, while the new dry-hop bill contributes notes of grapefruit and bubblegum with layers of tropical fruit and coconut.
