Tröegs Adding Scratch # 401 Hazy Pale Ale & 402 Raspberry Lime Tart

Tröegs Adding Scratch # 401 Hazy Pale Ale & 402 Raspberry Lime TartFrom Tröegs:

This could be the one. For our latest pale ale trial, we kept the soft and hazy base through a combination of pale malt, malted wheat, raw wheat, oats and honey malt. We also stuck with London 3 yeast for a dry fermentation. It's the dry-hop combination that's different: Citra, Lotus and El Dorado deliver notes of orange, passionfruit and pineapple. We're loving the super-soft finish. We taste: soft pineapple, passionfruit and juicy orange. It's 5.4% ABV and available now on draft and growler fills, only here in Hershey.Tröegs Adding Scratch # 401 Hazy Pale Ale & 402 Raspberry Lime TartRed raspberries kick off the pucker of this new fruit combination, then the addition of lime makes things downright tart. The base of pils, pale malt and honey malt is cut a little thin by the acidity of the citrus, but a higher mash temperature helps hold the texture.
