ATLANTA’S 49TH ANNUAL PRIDE FESTIVAL

ATaLe Pride Cans Available in Georgia & South Carolina Through October

Second Self Beer Company, the nationally recognized craft brewery based in Atlanta, Georgia, is bringing back its limited edition can design for the third year in celebration of Atlanta’s 49th Annual Pride Festival on Sunday, October 13. As the winner of Atlanta Magazine’s ‘Best Beer for a Cause’ award last year, the rainbow packaging of the popular hometown pale ale, ATaLe, mirrors the vibrant colors of the Pride flag and features an Atlanta skyline that incorporates the landmarks of the city.

A tribute to the hometown of Second Self and its founders, ATaLe’s (5.5% ABV, 39 IBU) crisp, clean and refreshing tasting notes pair well with dishes such as smoked wings, oysters, street tacos and tomme cheese.

“Love and respect are our guiding principles at Second Self, and it will always be a priority of ours to show support for the LGBTQ+ community,” says Second Self's Co-founder and Beer Architect Jason Santamaria. “We’re thrilled to be releasing this can design for the third year.”

Second Self will be expanding their support across state lines by sponsoring the South Carolina Pride Parade held in Columbia, SC on Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5. The team will donate 50 cases of the limited edition cans of which 100 percent of proceeds will benefit South Carolina Pride, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the needs of the LGBTQ+ community and its partners through educational events, entertainment, community outreach and celebrations of diversity throughout the year.

Second Self’s Pride cans are available for purchase now throughout October at their Westside tasting room (1317 Logan Circle NW) and in shops, bars and restaurants throughout Georgia and South Carolina. One dollar of every Pride six-pack sold at the brewery will be donated to Lost-n-Found Youth, Inc., an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization that works to end homelessness for LGBTQ+ and all sexual minority youth.
