Boulevard Tart Apple Radler Returns

Boulevard Tart Apple Radler ReturnsFrom Boulevard:

Originally released in 2018 as the newest addition to our Radler family, Tart Apple Radler received such an overwhelmingly positive response last year we KNEW it needed to make a return in 2019. Tart Apple Radler will once again be available exclusively in six-packs of 12oz cans, and starts hitting shelves in the Greater Kansas City area on Monday, August 26, with other regions to follow.

Using our experiences from previously creating Ginger Lemon Radler and Cranberry Orange Radler, we follow the same process but instead of using ginger and lemon juice, we add tart apple juice and just a touch of lemon juice to the beer. Pouring a hazy golden color, Tart Apple Radler opens with aromas of tart green apple juice backed by a subtle sweetness from the Unfiltered Wheat Beer base. Unsurprisingly, slightly puckering apple and lemon dominate the flavor but give way to a bready malt sweetness and a spritzy finish that wavers between apple, lemon and slight citrus notes from the base beer. Eminently drinkable and refreshing, Tart Apple Radler is the ultimate post-activity beer even if you’re doing nothing more strenuous than lifting it to your lips.
