Hill Farmstead Releasing Cigar City Collaboration Works of Love: Cigar City 2015 8/29

Hill Farmstead Releasing Cigar City Collaboration Works of Love: Cigar City 2015 8/29From Hill Farmstead:

In November of 2015, our friends Wayne, Joey, Justin and Geiger from Cigar City Brewing visited us. They shared a number of special Cigar City beers with us and our guests, and we brewed two different beers. In 2016, we released the first of those projects, a Belgian-inspired brown ale.

On Weds., 29 August, we will release the second beer from that visit!

Works of Love: Cigar City 2015

A wort consisting of American malted barley, wheat, oats, and hops was rested for 48 hours in the open late fall air in our coolship, and then inoculated with lager yeast. After fermentation, the beer was transferred to French oak barrels for nearly 14 months. After extended bottle conditioning, this beer is now ready.

Please note that this beer is highly carbonated; therefore, we recommend serving this beer around 40ºF/4ºC.

Please visit our bottle release page, http://hillfarmstead.com/bottle-release, for bottle limits and pricing information (credit card and matching ID required for this bottle).

We will also offer fresh cans of Dharma Bum and Society & Solitude #5! Visit our retail page for updated offerings in draft, bottles, cans and more.
