From Troegs:
Our exploration into precision hopping takes another step forward. For the geeks out there, we're toying with the time and temperature of hopping on both the cold side and hot side of brewing to fine tune the flavor of the finished beer. With Scratch #334, we're aiming to pull forward the grapefruit, citrus and orange candy goodness of the hops. A base of rustic pale malt from central PA ferments dry, allowing the hops - 7.5 pounds per barrel - to deliver their delicious message. We taste: grapefruit, orange hard candy, melon. Draft and growlers fills now available in the tasting room
