From Troegs:
The classic Madras cocktail was our inspiration for Scratch #326, a refreshing Gose featuring fresh blood orange and cranberry added during fermentation. This fruit combination lends a distinct tart note paired with a sweet citrus flavor. Coriander adds a floral undertone, while a touch of salt helps to amplify the fruit notes and tame the sweetness. Draft and growler fills now available at the brewery.
With Scratch #325, we’re continuing our exploration of dry-hopping a traditional German-style pilsner. Keeping the Tolar and Bojo malt bill intact, we decided to change up our dry hop to Mandarina Bavaria, a noble-like German varietal with pleasant citrus notes akin to tangerine and, as the name implies, Mandarin orange. We also opted to use our closed fermenters this time to mute the fruity esters and really allow the hop character to shine through. We’re really digging the zesty citrus note of this go-round! Draft and growler fills available at the brewery.
