Samuel Adams Boston 26.2 Brew Is Back

Samuel Adams Boston 26.2 Brew Is BackFrom Samuel Adams:

The days are getting longer and baseball season is in full swing, which can only mean one thing: Patriot’s Day is fast approaching – as are the runners for the 122nd Boston Marathon.

Patriot’s Day holds a special place in our heart, not only because of what it represents for American history, but also because of what it represents for our history. Jim Koch released his first batch of Samuel Adams Boston Lager to the public on Patriot’s Day in 1985, right here in Boston.

We have been a proud sponsor of the Boston Marathon for the past seven years, and to celebrate each year we release Boston 26.2 Brew in partnership with the Boston Athletic Association.

This gose style ale contains light cereal notes from malted and unmalted wheat with a touch of coriander. Soft wheat and citrus character are contrasted with hints of salt and coriander and it finishes clean with soft fruit and crisp citrus notes. With a lighter body and lower alcohol level (4.5% ABV), this beer is fitting for both runners and race fans alike.

This beer not only tastes good, it does good, too.

100% of the profits of Boston 26.2 Brew will benefit Spaulding’s Adaptive Sports Centers, a program that promotes and grants access to sports and recreation as part of the rehabilitation process—as well as in everyday life—to those with disabilities.

We are excited to announce that for the first time ever, Boston 26.2 Brew will be available in 750ml bottles exclusively at the Boston Brewery starting on April 11th. Bottles of Boston 26.2 Brew are $19.99/bottle and will only be available for a limited time – so get it while you can!

Boston 26.2 Brew is also available on draft now through Marathon Monday. Click here to see where you can find it on tap in the New England area.
