Harpoon Celebrating The 2018 Boston Marathon With Golden Ducky

Harpoon Celebrating The 2018 Boston Marathon With Golden DuckyFrom Harpoon:

April showers bring… marathon runners from all over the world to Boston! To celebrate Boston athletes, our good friends at New Balance are making a splash all over the city with their This Is Boston campaign. And for the fourth year in a row, we have joined forces to make a limited-edition beer to go with it!

This year’s collaboration, “Harpoon Golden Ducky” IPA will be available at The Harpoon Beer Hall, Solas Irish Pub, and Beacon Hill Bistro starting Friday, April 13th until supplies last.

This special pilot beer is a double IPA that pours a light orange color with a melon fruit aroma. The taste is hop forward with a slight malt sweetness that finishes clean and dry.   8.1% abv, 50 IBUs

We hope everyone celebrating Boston and running this weekend gets a chance to try it! Be warned: Harpoon “Golden Ducky IPA” won’t be around long, so make sure you grab a pint while you can. #thisisboston #lovebeerlovelife

A History of the Harpoon-New Balance marathon collaboration:

2017: A Session Brown IPA called Harpoon “This is New Balance”

2018: A Dunkelweizen IPA called Harpoon “Golden Ducky”
