From Catawba:
Catawba Brewing is now pouring a Small Batch Thai Gose (5.2 percent ABV). At its base is the classic German-style wheat ale, soured in the kettle with Lactobacillus, with an addition of sea salt. Then departing from German tradition, the beer was infused with fresh ginger, lemongrass, and lemon peel lending a familiar burst of Thai flavor.
In Charlotte, Thai Gose is a fundraiser beer for the Carolinas Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Catawba will donate $1 from the sale of each 10oz pour to the non-profit for one week following its release.
Thai Gose is Passport Beer #14 in Catawba’s 2018 Small Batch rewards program. Brewed in their Asheville South Slope brewhouse, the beer is available exclusively in Catawba’s four tasting rooms.
