Avery Releasing Plank'd Rum Barrel-Aged Coconut Porter 5/20

Avery Releasing Plank'd Rum Barrel-Aged Coconut Porter 5/20From Avery:
Ahoy, fellow rumscallions!
We are proud to bring you Plank'd, our Rum Barrel-Aged Coconut Porter! Available at our brewery on Sunday, May 20th and nationally in late-May to June.
To celebrate the launch of this delicious and ambitious Coconut Porter, we are doing something we have never done before...selling the barrels that the beer aged in.
That's right, we are selling Plank'd Rum barrels! From 12pm to 5pm on Sunday, May 20th, we will be selling these delicious flavor infusers for $50 a piece.
While we don't recommend that you use them for beer aging, they are great for planter boxes, making furniture, patio tables, bar tables, you name it!
And...what's a release party without some friendly competition? At 3:00pm, we will be hosting a planking competition. Whoever holds a plank position the longest will win a CASE of Plank'd. That's $288 reasons to work on your abs. And, we won't judge if your belly happens to reach the ground.
DETAILS:
-Plank'd will be on tap and available for sale in our to-go cooler starting at 11:30am.
-Rum Barrel sale will be from 12pm to 5pm. $50 a barrel. Credit Card payment only. Must be able to pick up and transport barrels during that time period. Sorry, we cannot hold barrels for future pick up!
-Planking contest starts at 3:00pm, outside on the patio turf (pending weather).
