From Dogfish Head:
Lewes, Del., March 15, 2018 – Day-dreaming about where to book your next ‘beercation’ getaway? Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is inviting you to check-in and check-out the Dogfish Inn located canal side in downtown Lewes, Del. The perfect basecamp for exploring coastal Delaware and all things off-centered, the Dogfish Inn was designed for both beer and nature lovers in mind, lovingly folding their motto into every nook of the Inn experience, “Welcome to Lewes. Mother Nature, Let’s Do This.”
Featuring 15 modern rooms (seven pet friendly) and a ‘Cottage Sweet’ for up to four guests, the Dogfish Inn combines contemporary comforts along with playful analog touches, ensuring guests relax, unwind and fully discover the Dogfish goodness. Dogfish Innkeepers – friendly beer and exploration ambassadors - are on-hand to share travel wisdom and local tips, making it easy for guests to embrace the wealth of geographic treasures available during their stay. Just outside the front doors of the Dogfish Inn, visitors are steps away from scenic bike trails, beaches, boutique (tax-free) shopping and restaurants, along with endless opportunities to enjoy a paddle or swim in the ocean or bay. (SUP, kayak and boat rentals are available nearby.) Custom bicycles, Tivoli radios, Apolis tote bags, Woolrich blankets and retro American-made beach chairs are just some of the free amenities provided by the Inn to make your getaway extra dreamy.
After a long day exploring, guests can retreat to the Inn courtyard to play yard-games and board-games or mix and mingle with other folks while enjoying complimentary s’mores huddled around a toasty fire from the Cowboy Cauldron. Sam Calagione, CEO and founder of Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, has been known to host ‘Fireside Chats’ at the Dogfish Inn chatting all things beer, music, art and spirits (check with the Innkeeper for details). Just inside the main cottage, they’ll find freshly-brewed Dogfish Head Chicory Stout coffee, and are welcomed to enjoy a cup while spinning vinyl from the record collection on the custom Crosley record player. The cottage also has a library curated by the renowned City Lights Bookstore in San Francisco with special reads for sale and borrow. While the Inn doesn’t offer any off-centered ales on site, each room is handily equipped with an exclusive 32 oz. growler for guests to take, fill, bring back and drink around the fire or take home. A ‘thank you, please come again’ gift from the Dogfish Inn.
For those looking to add an extra dash of Dogfish Head goodness to their trip, book the All-INNclusive package. The day begins with a 9:30am Inn departure, followed by a private, behind-the-scenes tour of the Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton. After a VIP tasting, folks head to the brewpub in Rehoboth Beach, Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats, where they’re guaranteed a table for lunch. Then they’re shuttled back to the Inn, where guests gather around the cowboy cauldron and enjoy complimentary s’mores. All-INNclusive tickets are $45 per person and include door-to-door transportation, brewery tour and sampling, and guaranteed seating at the brewpub. Guests cover lunch and beer beyond samples.
