Saisons & Seafood with Holy Mountain: Off Topic Forum and Beer Pairing
Join us at the taproom as we discuss all things off topic from local malt to lagers and rainy days. We’ll be joined by Holy Mountain Brewing from Seattle and Skagit Valley Malting, our collaborators in the upcoming release in the Ambient Terrain Series. The Holy Mountain folks are not only like-minded people but also great friends and great brewers of lagerbier. Both Holy Mountain and Skagit Valley Malting are making massive waves in the Washington beer scene.
Tickets are $10 at the door and include a branded glass to keep, access to the talk, and shared beers from Holy Mountain Brewing. Tickets will be available starting at 5pm.

Ambient Terrain Collaboration Release in AVL:
Ambient Terrain is a series of rustic lagers to be produced at Burial Beer Co. throughout 2018. Each brew in the series will be a three-way collaboration between Burial, a partner brewery and a craft maltster local to the collaborating brewery. When selecting our partners it was important to us to choose breweries that we not only deeply admire but also represent, geographically, a wide swath of America. A critical goal of the series is to bring the distinct flavors, otherwise known as “terroir”, of this amazing country to Asheville. We aimed to partner with friends from the Northwest, the Southwest, the Midwest, the Northeast and the Southeast. It only felt right to make the first beer in the series a celebration of Western North Carolina and whom else could we possibly choose as a partner but Fonta Flora. Arguably, there is no other brewery in the region as dedicated to local ingredients and through doing so, they have always been extremely inspirational to us. They’ve also become very close personal friends of ours, not unlike the amazing folks behind Riverbend Malthouse, an equally obvious choice of partner for this first beer. Pinnacle of Dreams Rye Lager is born.
