DC Brau Releasing Sleeping Standing Up 16oz Cans

DC Brau Releasing Sleeping Standing Up 16oz CansFrom DC Brau :

We are starting the new year with new beer — a barrel-aged English-style Barleywine dubbed SLEEPING STANDING UP. This is the first barleywine
produced by our team. Ever!
SLEEPING STANDING UP has been aging in 25-gallon One Eight Rye Whisky barrels for the last three months. There are only 60 cases of 16oz tall boy cans in existence -- available in single cans ($10 each) or 4-packs ($36) starting tomorrow, January 6th, at noon in the tasting room. There are no limit restrictions, and we'll have a single keg on draft for tasters so you can sample the barleywine before you buy it.

TASTING NOTES ON SLEEPING STANDING UP

Style:  Barrel-aged English-style Barleywine

ABV:  10%

An attractive off-white, tan head sits atop a malty, high octane beverage. Aroma's of light booze, toffee, in-ripe fig give way to a complex tapestry of malt flavors that are perfectly balanced by hop contributions of the Willamette variety. SLEEPING STANDING UP boasts flavors of marmalade, candied orange and dry fruit cake that excite the palate, liven the senses, and warm the soul. Perfect drinking for colder weather!

DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS RELEASE.
