From Braxton Brewing:
Braxton Brewing Company and ArtsWave, a Greater Cincinnati local arts agency, have teamed up to create a new canned beer. A recipe developed at Braxton Labs, Make Waves is a dark saison infused with plum puree. This partnership was brewed to create a ripple effect of innovation and inspiration through our vibrant arts community.
A portion of the proceeds from sales of draft beer and 6-packs of 12 oz. cans will be donated to ArtsWave. With the help of tens of thousands of donors, ArtsWave supports more than 100 arts and community organizations that make the Greater Cincinnati region an amazing place to live.

“Working with an arts organization as creative and inspiring as ArtsWave is exciting and challenging at the same time,” said Evan Rouse, Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder of Braxton Brewing Company. “We wanted to brew a beer as inspiring as the arts that they support. The result was a Braxton Labs recipe. We gave an old school style a new style twist and the result is delicious.”
Make Waves was inspired by Braxton Labs’ spirit of innovation. This creativity and inspiration aligns with the ethos of ArtsWave.
A shared appreciation for the diversity in beer and the arts environment has resulted in this vibrant twist on a Belgian classic. Make Waves is a slightly roasty, dark saison with all the yeast characteristics that beer drinkers love. Strong aromas and flavors of fresh plums and stone fruit, all work together to inspire. It’s part science. Part art. All community.
The cans will be released and the beer tapped at Braxton Brewing Company’s Covington taproom on Thursday, February 1st. ArtsWave will be here along with local art displays and a special jazz trio. You can learn more about the event here.
The cans and draft beer will both be distributed while supplies last in Greater Cincinnati. For more information about ArtsWave, visit their website.
