This morning we have another new biscotti-brew coming from Evil Twin. This is Double Barrel Imperial Biscotti Break and it is an imperial stout first aged in Bourbon maple barrels, then age din Marsala wine barrels. The beer will roll in at 11.5%-AbV and it will be packaged in 22oz bottles at Westbrook Brewing in Mount Pleasant, SC.

double barrel imperial biscotti break ✌ in june 2016 we filled some bourbon maple syrup barrels from our friends at BliS with this beautiful stout. exactly one year later in june 17 we transferred that beer to 2 huge marsala wine barrels and let it age there for another 6 month. out came a big, bold yet silky smooth stout with obvious notes of the bourbon and maple syrup backed up by notes of apricot, vanilla, tamarind, brown sugar and tobacco from the marsala wine barrels. possibly our proudest barrel aged stout to date, that we can’t wait to share with you!
