Great news from Elysian:
After twelve years of hosting the Great Pumpkin Beer Festival (GPBF), Elysian Brewing Co. announced this September their first official long-term festival partner: Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (Fred Hutch). Following an incredible five-year partnership, the brewery committed to donating all proceeds from the sold-out event to the organization to help in its continued quest to find a cure.
Yesterday evening at the Elysian Airport Way Taproom, Elysian co-founder Joe Bisacca announced that the brewery raised $125,000 during the 13th annual GPBF. Fred Hutch Associate Director of Corporate Engagement Melissa Opland accepted the donation check on behalf of the organization, thanking Elysian for their continued and committed partnership since 2012 when the brewery sponsored Fred Hutch’s annual bike ride, Obliteride.
Bisacca also announced that Elysian would be partnering with Fred Hutch again next year for GPBF and continuing its partnership with the organization for the next four years - sponsoring and participating in Obliteride, Base 2 Space, and more.

Excellent- I love to hear about the charity commitments of breweries. This is a lot of cash, and for a great cause!
