Jester King Releases 2017 Bière de SyrahFrom Jester King:

We’re excited to announce that 2017 Jester King Bière de Syrah will be released today!
Bière de Syrah is barrel-aged sour beer refermented with Texas Syrah grapes! This is our second-ever release of Bière de Syrah and the first with Texas-grown Syrah grapes. Our first blend was refermented with grapes from California. This year’s grapes came from northeast Texas.
2017 Bière de Syrah was blended in August and packaged in September. It’s 6.6% alcohol by volume, 10 IBU, 3.4 pH, and has a finishing gravity of 1.000 (0 degrees Plato). We refermented about 775 gallons of barrel aged sour beer with about 1,500 pounds of Syrah grapes.
2017 Bière de Syrah will be released today (Friday, November 17th, 2017) at 4pm. It will be available by the glass and at bottles to go. We have about 2,400 bottles available (500ml/$20) with a bottle limit of 3 per customer per day. Aside from special events, 2017 Bière de Syrah will only be available at our tasting room.
