Heavy Seas Celebrates 22nd Anniversary With New Anniversary AleWe brought you an early peek at this beer, and now a very happy birthday to Heavy Seas:

BALTIMORE, MD Heavy Seas  Beer is excited to announce the release of 22, an anniversary ale to celebrate the brewery’s 22nd year of brewing craft beer in Baltimore. This Belgian-style Tripel aged in local Sagamore Spirit Rye Whiskey barrels, will be released in early December within the “Uncharted Waters” Series.

"To celebrate our 22nd Anniversary, we've created an exceptionally special Belgian inspired brew," says Heavy Seas Brewmaster, Chris Leonard. "Goldenrod in color with a dense head and creamy mouthfeel, this robust, bold brew presents phenolic flavors of white pepper and peach skin from the warm fermentation, along with vanilla and subtle spiciness from the Sagamore Spirit Rye Whiskey barrel aging."

"Thank you, thank you very much for all of the support over the years, without you, we wouldn't still be here sailing into Uncharted Waters year after year," says Heavy Seas Founder, Hugh Sisson. "Cheers!"

ABV: 10%

IBU: 37
