Heavy Seas Releasing Partner Ship Series Collaboration Wee Heavy With MadTree Brewing

Heavy Seas Releasing Partner Ship Series Collaboration Wee Heavy With MadTree BrewingWe brought you a peek, and now we have some more exciting collaboration news from Heavy Seas Brewing in Baltimore, MD:

BALTIMORE, MD - The “Partner Ships” Series by Heavy Seas Beer will soon welcome it's third and final collaboration in 2017, a Wee Heavy brewed with MadTree Brewing of Cincinnati, OH. This limited release will be available in November in all states where Heavy Seas beer is distributed.

This collaboration is a twist on a classic style. Using Golden Promise as our base malt and a touch of Roasted Barley, we look to Simpson's Double Roast Crystal and Weyermann Chocolate Rye to add a unique touch to this collaboration brew. East Kent Golding has a very subtle presence exclusively in this beer. With Burundi Mpanga coffee from Deeper Roots in Cincinnati, Ethiopian Harrar coffee from Chesapeake Bay Roasting Co. in Baltimore, and cocoa nibs from Maverick Chocolate in Cincinnati, this robust brew is loaded with local flavor. Deep mahogany in color with layers of malt, chocolate, and roasted complexity. Heavy Seas Releasing Partner Ship Series Collaboration Wee Heavy With MadTree Brewing
