Elvis Juice Wins First GABF Award For BrewDog USA

Elvis Juice Wins First GABF Award For BrewDog USAWe brought you the full GABF 2017 results, now this exciting GABF news coming from BrewDog:

At the weekend we had some amazing news come in over the wires from Colorado, as the 36th annual Great American Beer Festival awards were announced. Our grapefruit IPA Elvis Juice was amongst the winners, coming home – to Ohio – with a medal! We reckon this is the first time ever a primarily UK-based business has won an award at the GABF, the industry-standard contest for beer quality in the US.

It’s incredible news, and truly awesome for our hard-working team in Columbus who made it happen!

The people of Ohio have been learning about our US-brewed beers for months so we love the fact that at this early stage in our American adventures, the judges of the most prestigious contest in the country have agreed with them and given Elvis Juice a medal.

The GABF Awards sees thousands of US-brewed craft beers go up against each other in 96 different style categories, with the judging process alone taking three days to complete. The competition is fierce; Elvis Juice came out a winner in a category of 145 entrants!

Thanks to the GABF judges for the award, but all the thanks have to go to our US brewteam in Columbus. To install, develop and key in our Ohio brewhouse to the stage where it produces award-winning beers after only a few months is awesome. Without everyone in Columbus working in such an amazing way together, we wouldn’t have achieved this. You guys rock.

So who’s having an Elvis Juice tonight in celebration?
