Here’s another do-not-miss event coming from The Bruery:
ORANGE COUNTY, CA – As craft beer continues to grow, barrel-aged beer has become increasingly popular. With more barrel-aged styles being brewed across the nation, craft beer fans and brewers alike are taking time to celebrate this special tradition.
On October 6, breweries, beer drinkers, and craft beer establishments are encouraged to celebrate Barrel-Aged Beer Day, a holiday for honoring the people, passion and time invested to create barrel-aged beer. Falling on the first Friday of October each year, Barrel-Aged Beer Day observes all kinds of aged beers, from Bourbon barrel-aged stouts to wine barrel-aged sours, and many styles in between.
PROMOTE: Through October 6, barrel-aged beer fans are encouraged to celebrate the holiday on social media with the hashtag #BABeerDay to share their passion for barrel-aged beers. Users on Untappd are also encouraged to check-in to select barrel-aged beers to earn a special badge. Get involved and help spread the word with promotional assets available here!
INVOLVEMENT: Breweries including Orange County’s The Bruery® & Bruery Terreux® are honoring the holiday with archive bottle sales, special events at the Great-American Beer Festival, and exclusive Barrel-Aged Beer Day releases including Bourbon Barrel-Aged Share This™ imperial stout and a winning staff blend of barrel-aged beers and special ingredients made just for the holiday, called Bruers’ Barrel-Aged Blend: Zesty Mounds.
SOCIAL: Stay in the know via the @babeerday Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
