DuClaw Espresso & Bourbon Vanilla RetributionIf you’re at all familiar with Retribution imperial stout from DuClaw Brewing, this will be exciting news.  You’re looking at several new Retribution variants coming to bottles from DuClaw Brewing in Baltimore, MDCocoa & Chile Retribution is an imperial stout brewed aged with cocoa nibs and Pasos De Oaxaca chiles in Bourbon barrels for 6-months (11.5%-AbV) and Espresso & Bourbon Vanilla Retribution is an imperial stout aged 6-months in Bourbon barrels with espresso beans and Bourbon vanilla beans (11.5%-AbV).  These are both 12oz bottles and stay tuned for release info.DuClaw - Cocoa & Chile  Retribution

Here’s the commercial description for the base beer from DuClaw:

First brewed in 2011 and released each October, Retribution is full-bodied and jet black with a small tan head and a complex flavor profile of dark chocolate, coffee, smoky malt, and dark fruit, concealing a massive, warming 11.2% ABV. After fermentation, Retribution is aged inside of bourbon barrels made from charred American White Oak and carefully monitored for 6 months, resulting in a sophisticated Bourbon barrel aged imperial stout, infused with aromas and flavors of charred oak, vanilla and caramelized sugar.
