Catawba Brewing Collaboration Beer with Dunkin' Donuts Arrives for National Coffee DayExciting collaboration beer news coming from Catawba Brewing in Charlotte, NC:

First-Ever Dunkin’-Flavored Beer to Launch on National Coffee Day in Charlotte

$1 Per Pint of Dunkin’ Punkin, by Catawba Brewing, To Be Donated to Second Harvest

CHARLOTTE, NC (Sept. 28, 2017) — In honor of National Coffee Day, Dunkin’ Donuts and Catawba Brewing Company partnered to create a cold-brew, pumpkin-flavored beer, utilizing the Dunkin’ ingredients everyone loves, so it oozes with authentic taste down to the last drop. Dunkin’ Punkin Brown Ale is the first-ever and only beer in the country to include original Dunkin’ Donuts flavoring ingredients. Beginning on National Coffee Day, Sept. 29, Catawba Brewing will sell the new brew exclusively at their four tasting rooms, with $1 per pint benefiting Second Harvest Metrolina.

“Craft coffee is at the core of our business so we like to brew up something for National Coffee Day that really delights our customers. That’s when we hatched an out-of-the-cup idea – combine craft coffee and craft beer -- the perfect pair!” states Meaghan Duff, Field Marketing Manager of Dunkin’ Donuts in North and South Carolina. “To give it the local flare, we partnered with an established, family-owned brewery with a mission that caught our attention – create unique, small batch beers inspired by our communities and lifestyle. Second Harvest was also a natural choice because of the mission of our foundation, The Joy in Childhood Foundation. Through the organization, we strive to provide the simple joys of childhood to sick and hungry kids; the proceeds from Dunkin’ Punkin will go to help feed children and their families.”

“We’re excited to partner with a company like Dunkin’ Donuts, who’s best in class at what they do,” says Billy Pyatt, Catawba Brewing Co-Owner and CEO. “And we love that it’s for such a good cause. Giving back to our local communities is a core mission of our brewery, so that makes this collaboration even more special.”

The beer may be found at Catawba's four tasting rooms: Charlotte (933 Louise Ave), Asheville South Slope (32 Banks Ave) and Biltmore Village (63 Brook St), and downtown Morganton (212 S. Green St). Use #DunkinPunkin on social media to show how you’re enjoying the best of two worlds – coffee and beer.
