This morning you get your first peek at a new beer coming from Allagash Brewing in Portland, ME. This is Bijoux and it is a wild golden ale brewed with Vienna malt, Carapils, flaked wheat, 2-row barley and Tettnang hops. The beer is aged in oak barrels for 18-months before Turkish and Mission figs are added for another 4-months. French for “jewelry," Bijoux will hit 7%-AbV and it will be packaged in 12.7oz bottles and kegs. Stay tuned here for release info.
