Brewery Ommegang Adding Gnomegeddon Blonde Ale Bottles

image
Here’s your very first look at a new beer from Brewery Ommegang heading to bottles.  This is Gnomegeddon Blonde Ale and it uses a secondary fermentation with brettanomyces yeast, spending three monthe refermenting in the bottle before it is released.  Based on the label, I’d say primary fermentation is done with Chouffe yeast.  This beer will be packaged in 750ml bottles and Ommegang recommends drinking some fresh and cellaring some for later.  Look for Gnomegeddon to fly in at 9.5%-AbV and stay tuned for release details.
