From Toronto Ale Brewing :

Brought to you by Azim Capital’s Toronto Ale Brewing Company, 1973 Kroy is set to woo the hearts of beer drinkers around the world. The beer

itself is a lager and has a name that is inspired by the patriotism that the Azimis have for their home country. 1793 is the year when Toronto

was established as York, by Sir John Graves Simcoe. Sir John was responsible for introducing legislature and abolishing slavery in York, and will

be used as the mascot of this new product. The name of the beer therefore hails Toronto’s historic year and uses the name ‘York’ in it, spelled

backwards as Kroy.

The beer is to be launched in global markets this year, reaching 32 countries. Described as a light, pale and crisp lager, 1793 Kroy will be

perfect for those thirsty balmy days when all one wants to do is relax with company.

With the growing interest in beer, and the advance of microbreweries, there is really no better time for 1793 Kroy to release in the world

market. Therefore, going by the slogan for the beer, let’s raise a toast ‘To the World’ for the beer that itself comes from a land that is home

to many cultures from all over the world.
