From The Bruery:
The Bastard made a stop at our pilot brewery at the end of March (thankfully, it was scheduled. Hey, he may be an Arrogant Bastard, but at least he’s courteous and punctual when it comes to a brew date.) We took a whirl at brewing his liquid arrogance on our 3 BBL pilot brewhouse, and next week, it will be unleashed. Join us and representatives from Stone Brewing Co. for Bastard Night at The Bruery onThursday, April 14, where you can taste our crack at liquid arrogance. The timing just so happens to coincide with the final sprint towards tax day as well. The first 100 Tasting Room friends will receive a limited edition print with their first full pour of the beer. We’ll unleash the Bastard at 5:00 p.m.
FRUCHT: PASSION FRUIT THIS FRIDAY
You’re getting Frucht this Friday! Frucht is a new series of fruited Berliner Weisse-style beers from Bruery Terreux. Known for a tart flavor profile and traditionally low ABV, our new German-style wheat beer gains even more funky notes and natural earthy-woodiness from its fermentation in one of our brand new oak foeder vessels at Bruery Terreux. Each installment in the series will feature a new fruit, or Frucht, if we’re Sprechen sie Deutsch. This first installment has passion fruit added, which escalates the tartness, tropicality and palate-cleansing prowess of the base beer. Bottles go on sale when we open at noon (and on TheBrueryStore.com). Half-growler fills are available for 2016 Reserve and Hoarders Society members.
