Stone Berlin REINHEITSVERBOT - April 23rd

imageFrom Stone:

Saturday, April 23rd marks the 500th anniversary of the German Reinheitsgebot (Purity Law). On that same day, #StoneBerlin will be celebrating its first official gathering at the part-open Stone Berlin World Bistro & Gardens – Berlin with a rather “rebellious” lineup of beers. We’d like you to be there to raise a glass to quality beers that are brewed with quality and creativity in defiance of the law.

The perception of many is that the Reinheitsgebot is synonymous with quality, when in fact it is only synonymous with one brewing style. While all year-round Stone beers meet the Reinheitsgebot criteria, many special limited releases do not. Expensive, high quality coffee, vanilla, coriander, fruit, cocoa and peppers are some of the natural ingredients that Stone creatively uses.

Thus, in order to focus highlight specially on both both quality and creativity, StoneBerlin will be be tapping 26 fantastic beers which defy tradition, including fourStone Brewing styles which have been adapted to defy the 500-year old law (beer list below).

While Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens is still under construction, the Library Bar doors are – relatively – open. The event will begin at 12.00PM on Saturday, April 23rd and will run until midnight. Those joining our Reinhetsverbot event will be greeted by dust, dirt piles, construction noise and of course 26 taps of delicious beer. We ask that fans understand this is a sneak peek of the incredible destination to come. Stone’s Reinhetsverbot event is free to attend with beers priced individually and a CASH ONLY bar.
