If variety is the spice of life, then the selection for craft beer lovers just got a little more savory. Pelican Brewing Co introduces its first-ever mixed 12-pack of award-winning beverages: Kiwanda Cream Ale, Umbrella IPA, Imperial Pelican Ale and a rotating Pelican Seasonal Brew. The Pelican sample pack is in grocers’ craft beer aisle now.

Variety packs are typically produced by larger brewing companies, but Pelican, with a fondness for leveraging emerging opportunities and leading in its size category, is the first-to-market with a sampling that promises to delight beer lovers and educate newcomers.

“Craft beer consumers are an adventuresome lot looking for creativity and variety in their purchases,” says Darron Welch, award-winning brewmaster at Pelican Brewing Company. “We expect the Pelican mixed 12-pack to intrigue beer drinkers with a creative array they can pair with different foods and enjoy at different events. And newcomers to craft brews can sample our beers to find their favorite.”

Pelican, which has been well-decorated with awards since opening 20 years ago, is a growing craft brewery making waves with a creative approach to brewing and expanding the reach of its adult beverages. The brewers take pride in offering consumers a memorable experience, whether sipping its brews or dining in its brewpubs in Pacific City and Tillamook. Pelican opens a new brewpub and brewery in Cannon Beach in May 2016.

The Pelican mixed 12-pack is available now at grocers in Oregon and SW Washington.
