From Odell:
The Meddler Oud Bruin Ale is a crafty concoction, comprised of several generations of brown ales, barrel aged and blended.
"My favorite aspect of this beer is the true balance of the flavors. Oak, sour, sweet, rich, tangy, and tart all “Meddle” harmoniously," said Brent Cordle, our Barrel Aging/Pilot System Manager. "It keeps you sipping to determine which is your favorite as they play together on your palate."

Tap Room release party on February 12.
Fort Collins, CO. – On February 12, 2016, Odell Brewing will celebrate the return of The Meddler, a barrel aged Oud Bruin Ale. This release will be the first of six cellar series offerings throughout 2016.
The Meddler Oud Bruin is a blend of several generations of brown ales that were aged in toasted oak barrels between eight months and two years. The beer is inoculated with an in-house sour culture of wild yeasts and lactobacillus giving it a complex flavor. Intricate, yet balanced, The Meddler has an 8.6% ABV.
“My favorite aspect of this beer is the true balance of oak, sour, sweet, rich, tangy, and tart flavors,” said Brent Cordle, Odell Brewing’s Barrel Aging manager. “These flavors all Meddle harmoniously and keep you sipping to determine which is your favorite as they play together on your palate. It’s refreshing, relaxing and has the complexity that a true connoisseur can appreciate as well as the drinkability to relate to an introductory sour beer drinker.”
The Meddler is offered in 750ml cork and cage bottles and will be available throughout the brewery’s eleven state distribution footprint. Odell Brewing will celebrate the release of the beer in their tap room on Friday, February 12.
