GREELEY, CO – Wiley Roots Brewing Company, a two-time Great American Beer Fest medal-winning brewery, introduced Friday its exclusive Catacomb Society, designed to release rare, small
batch barrel-aged beer to members only throughout 2016.
The Wiley Roots Catacomb Society will release six barrel-aged offerings in 750ml bottles in its
inaugural membership year. These beers will only be available to members; none of these beers will be
available for purchase by the general public.
Other benefits of membership include: (1) Catacomb Society exclusive stemware glass, (1) Catacomb
Society exclusive article of clothing, 10 percent off merchandise in the taproom, 2016
membership/proxy card, right of first refusal for 2017 membership, and invitation to attend the
Catacomb Society annual membership party after the sixth release of the year. More details on the
membership party will be released later this year.
The following is a list of the anticipated beers for 2016. Some are still “to be determined,” as making
sour and barrel aged beer is an art and the brewers' creativity is ever-changing, just like the seasons and
seasonally available fruit and spices:
• barrel-aged, barrel-fermented Cherry Sour
• barrel-aged, barrel-fermented Apricot Sour
• barrel-aged, barrel-fermented Blonde Whiskey Sour
• barrel-aged cherry bitters French Saison with Sour Cherries
• tequila barrel-aged Stout
• barrel-aged Imperial Porter
The cost of the membership is $160 plus tax. Memberships can be purchased in the taproom or online
at wileyroots.com. Memberships will be available for purchase until the limited supply is sold out or
until the time of the first release, whichever comes first.
Individuals may elect to purchase multiple memberships, and will be allocated bottles accordingly. If
members do not live locally, members can elect a proxy to pick up their bottles at the time of
membership purchase.
Memberships can also be purchased at Craft Beer Cellar, 122 S. Mason St., in Fort Collins. Craft Beer
Cellar is also a pick up point for members who would like to pick up in Fort Collins.
