BOULDER, CO. (January 28, 2016) — Upslope Brewing Company, the Boulder-based brewery with national craft beer acclaim, is announcing the availability of their first cellar keepsake in 2016 from their Lee Hill Series, the Lee Hill Series Volume 7 Barrel Aged Imperial Milk Stout. As awareness of Upslope has skyrocketed and the demand for their five year-round beers grows, the brewers remain committed to experimenting and crafting small batches of delicious, decadent beer.

“No matter where we are as a business, we remain steadfast in our exhilaration to maintain a legacy in innovation, collaboration, and experimentation,” says Upslope’s founder Matt Cutter. “This is the type of brewing where Upslope has laid its foundation. After tasting this beer for the first time, Volume 7 of the Lee Hill series is proving to be a rare keepsake.”

In collaboration with Leopold Bros, a Colorado-based small batch distiller of spirits, the Imperial Milk Stout was housed in Maryland-style rye whiskey barrels for seven months to create a cold-weather beer rich with notes of cocoa and vanilla, while offering gentle cinnamon undertones and a certain rye whiskey spice.

On February 4th, 2016, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Upslope Brewing Company will host a release party open to the public at the Lee Hill tap room (1501 Lee Hill Road N20, Boulder, CO 80304). In addition to being served on tap, cans of the Barrel Aged Imperial Milk Stout will be available for purchase for $10 (19.2 oz, 9.1% ABV, limit six cans per person). A favorite in the Boulder/Denver food truck scene,Comida, will be on-site serving delicious bites throughout the event.
