SF Brewers Guild's Two Collaboration Beers "Spring Training" & "100 Vara" Debut Tonight

imageFrom the SF Brewers Guild:

San Francisco, CA -- Friday, Jan. 22, 2016 -- In the spirit of a friendly football-esque competition, in partnership with Whole Foods Market, the San Francisco Brewers Guild (SFBG) members drew the lines -- South of Market, North of Market -- drafted ingredients, then set out to brew two distinct collaboration beers to delight, entrance and, ultimately, gain bragging rights over their peers. That, after all, is the sweetest victory of all.

The final collaboration beers include Team SOMA's 100 Vara (coffee porter with chicory) and Team NOMA's Spring Training (saison with yuzu peel, sea salt, raw organic Patwin wheat). These brews will first be tapped tonight at the SF Beer Week Opening Gala (Piers 35, 1454 Embarcadero, San Francisco, Jan. 22, 2016). During SF Beer Week, 100 Vara and Spring Training will be available at various Whole Food Market locations, as well as at additional craft beer venues in San Francisco. Locations can be viewed on
