We brought you an early peek at this beer, and now the release details from Ballast Point:
We've hit the ground running with our beer releases this year and we have another one for you -Pineapple Sculpin. With so many tropical hop notes in Sculpin, how could we not try adding some sweet, juicy pineapple? The combination of fruity flavors and hop intensity definitely packs a punch.
But let's rewind- what began as a one-off small batch specialty for Los Angeles Beer Week event quickly grew to be one of our most requested brews. Fast forward to IPA Day last August, and it was a hit with our customers, with kegs kicking at all of our locations. We knew we had something special on our hands, and we are pretty damn excited to share it. Pineapple Sculpin is now available in 12oz bottles at all four of our tasting rooms, and they are flying onto trucks as soon as they get off the line for nationwide distribution.
