Mispillion River Brewing Launching Star Wars Inspired Beer - Vader

From Mispillion River Brewing :

Milford, DE – It's not a long time ago or in a galaxy far far away. It's right here in Delaware on Saturday. This weekend, Mispillion River Brewing will release Vader, a draft-exclusive Black Double IPA inspired by Star Wars.

The first pint of the Star Wars beer will be poured at the Milford-based brewery on Saturday the 19th at noon. A line of costumed attendees is expected to form outside the door prior to the release, as the first 100 customers to purchase a pint of Vader will receive a free commemorative glass.

El Presidente, Eric Williams, stated, “We are already hearing of friends and neighbors busting out their Star Wars Halloween costumes for the event (I’m looking at you, Eric Camper). No one wants to show up to a Star Wars party without their lightsaber.”

Bitterness, hoppinesss, and roastiness: those are the ways of the Black Double IPA. Utilizing Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops with minimal roast, Vader stands out among other beers for the balance between the light body of an IPA and the darkness of its color.

Williams added, “We are excited to share this beer and our love of the films with all of the other fans who are geeking out over Star Wars right now.”

Vader will release exclusively on draft. Delaware restaurants and growler retailers will begin carrying the beer the 28th of December.
