Ecliptic Brewing Filament Winter IPA Returns

Ecliptic Brewing, a craft brewery and restaurant in Portland’s Mississippi neighborhood, has released its Filament Winter IPA for a third year. Drawing inspiration from the winter sun, Filament Winter IPA is a welcomed bright spot to the season.

“We are really pleased to bring Filament Winter IPA out for a third year,” said John Harris, owner and brewmaster at Ecliptic. “This is our seasonal beer brewed for winter with Munich malt to lend a smooth honey-like flavor loaded with Crystal and Centennial hops.”

About Filament Winter IPA
As the winter sun hangs low in our sky – some 90 million miles away – solar filaments (giant arcs of cool, dense plasma) explode from its surface. Ecliptic’s Filament Winter IPA celebrates this cosmic wonder. Pale Munich and Caramel malts create a rich malt character with honey-like flavor. A bounty of Crystal, Chinook and Centennial hops combine to lend a spicy, citrus hop note.
