From New Belgium:
The Great American Beer Festival is upon us, and boy oh boy, are we pumped to pour and taste some pretty amazing beers over the next few days. If you’re in Denver for GABF, make sure to swing by our booth for some samples of tasty beers (we’re at end-cap booth M1 with giant spinning NBB letters—you can’t miss us). If you’re in Denver for all the amazing events taking place outside the convention center at bars throughout the city, check out our GABF events page for killer rare beer tastings, meet-and-greets, and tap takeovers throughout the week. It’s going to be a blast.
What New Belgium’s pouring at GABF:
Our sours are made up of blends from two different types of sour beer aging inside our foeders, Oscar and Felix. Here’s your chance to taste Felix in all its glory (the base beer for Le Terroir).
It’s our autumn seasonal saison, hopped with a hefty dose of tropical New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hops.
Here’s your chance to taste the newly revamped Trippel recipe, which we tweaked after almost 25 years.
Like Trippel, we revamped this OG New Belgium beer this summer. Be one of the first to taste the new recipe.
No introduction needed. This is the original New Belgium beer, and our flagship tried-and-true offering.
Eric’s Ale Wood-Aged Peach Sour
From the mind of wood cellar manager Eric Salazar. This Felix-based sour ale’s conditioned with peaches, which makes it a perfect beer for fruit and sour beer lovers.
Our flagship sour ale, La Folie is an annual blend of Oscar from our Foeder Forest.
Le Terroir Dry-Hopped Sour Ale
First conceived in 2003, Le Terroir is our dry-hopped sour ale featuring Amarillo and Galaxy hops, giving it a super tropical, fruity aroma.
Our year-round session IPA features eight different hop varieties, including Citra, Amarillo, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin for a tropical-forward session IPA that clocks in at a very reasonable 4.5% ABV and 40 IBUs.
Brace yourself: Our newest Hop Kitchen release is a brawny hop-forward stout, blending rich dark malt flavors with Cascade and Styrian Dana hops. It’s 8% ABV and 100 IBUs, so watch out!
So swing by our booth to shake some hands and taste some beers, and tell us what you think by tagging us @NewBelgium on Twitter and Instagram.
