True to its centuries old Scottish heritage, our 4.7% ABV 80 Shilling Scottish Ale is medium-bodied, clear copper in color, and topped with a creamy, off-white head. The flavor and aroma tip toward malt character, accented by faint smoky, peaty notes and hints of caramelized sugar, yet remain balanced by subtle hop bitterness all the way through to the beer's mild, dry finish.
