Summertime and cans go together like peanut butter and jelly, so naturally we thought this would be a good time to release some new options for you. Last week it was Wahoo...and we have another one to share...GRUNION!
From an internal Ballast Point home brew competition winner, to winning Gold at GABF less than a year ago, it has been quite a run for Grunion. When we released it in bottles it flew off the shelf, and we knew we had to can this hoppy pale ale. It will slowly be spreading across the country in cans and bottles. For you locals: it is also available for the first time in 5 and 15 gallon kegs at our Scripps Ranch, Home Brew Mart and Miramar locations for you to to take some draft home.
On top of that, National IPA Day, August 6, 2015, is right around the corner and our brewers have put together an awesome lineup of 22 of our hoppy offerings for each of our locations. We will have the full tap list in next week's newsletter, but you can count on some of your fruited favorites coming back like Mango Sculpin, Watermelon Dorado, and Creamsicle Fathom. Plus delicious IPA food specials at our Little Italy and Miramar locations. Make sure to mark your calendars now - these specialty kegs are sure to kick fast.
